이때까지만 해도 연아에 대해서만 알았지
피겨 스케이팅에 대해서는 잘 알지 못했다.
지금도 다른 연아갤러들에 비하면 새발의 피이겠지만
그나마 지금은 점프 종류는 어느 정도 구분할수 있게 되었지.

2006-07 시즌 프리스케이팅 중에서 가장 좋아하는건
TEB에서 선보인 프로그램이지만
그때는 마지막 더블악셀에서 넘어지는 바람에
그래도 안넘어진 파이널을 골랐다.

이나바우어 + 더블악셀 + 트리플토에서 더블악셀 랜딩이 생각만큼 충분하지 않았는지
트리플토를 생략하고 대신에 후반에 살코 + 더블토를 뛰어주는 임기응변까지...

그런면에서 월드 챔피언쉽에서의 프리스케이팅이 좀 아쉽긴 하다.

연아가 러츠를 연거푸 실수하자 러시아 해설 타라소바가
왜 더블악셀을 초반에 뛰고 러츠를 나중에 뛰는지 이해가 안간다고 했는데...
당시에는 그 말을 이해하지 못했었지만 지금은 무슨 의미였는지 이해가 간다.

물론 러츠를 후반에 배치해서 가산점을 노린것이었겠지만
연아가 정상 컨디션이 아니었다는 점을 고려해본다면
TEB나 파이널 처럼 좀더 안전한 구성으로 가는게 어땠을까 하는 생각이 들곤한다.
하지만 이미 지난 일을 어쩌리...

이 프로그램의 안무는 정말 좋아하지만
음악만 들으면 강약이 없어서 조금은 지루한 느낌...
하지만 연아를 우아하고 서정적인 스케이터로 자리매김해준 프로그램이 아닐까 싶다.

연아가 아닌 다른 스케이터가 이 프로그램을 잘 소화할수 있을거라는 생각은 안든다.
부상 문제로 인해 한번도 클린 프로그램을 보이지 못하고 시즌을 마감한 비운의 프로그램...

한 시즌 더 쓰면 어떨까 하는 생각도 해봤는데...
미스사이공 보고나선 다이내믹한 음악과 안무도 연아한테 어울리는걸 보고 놀랬다.
COC까지만 해도 종달새가 낫다고 생각했는데
러시아 대회와 파이널 거치고 나니 사이공도 완소 프로그램이 되어버렸네... ㅋㅋㅋ
